Matt Roberts is known for people-centric creative direction.
Matt is the storytelling force behind over one hundred ad campaigns. He began his career as founder and artistic director of new writing company Papatango, directed for BAFTA-winning writer Dominic Mitchell and has since written and directed a Disney-bought movie.
In his work with Miele, Matt created a series featuring chefs Monica Galetti, Sven-Hanson Britt, and Anna Hansen of The Modern Pantry. The films followed a customer's journey with their architect, exploring the design and functionality of the chefs' kitchens. The series generated 2 million organic views and increased traffic to the Miele hub by 150%.
Building on the success of Chef Inspired Kitchens, we went on to create a second series and The Perfection Series, both of which helped solidify Miele as the brand of choice for top chefs worldwide.
For the Etihad and Visit Britain production, Matt asked three top chefs in each city, "Where do you like to eat on your days off?" The chefs took us on a fast-paced, mouth-watering tour of their favourite spots, showcasing some of the UK’s best restaurants.
To connect the audience with the travel experience, renowned chef Nelly Robinson introduced the restaurants, building instant trust in the recommendations.
The film was launched at exclusive Etihad events hosted by Nelly, the films gained attention in Australia and beyond. They later went live on Etihad’s channels, reinforcing their commitment to customers.
