Indian Summer

The real flavour of India

We created the “Indian Summer” campaign, pairing authentic and mouth-watering Geeta's condiments with the traditional British BBQ.



Challenge

Geeta’s has been known in the UK for over 25 years for its iconic Mango chutney. The aim of this campaign was to raise awareness of its wider range of authentic Indian condiments and how they can be incorporated into British cooking.


Insight

Everyone is aware of how delicious Geeta’s condiments are alongside Indian food but we wanted to show just how versatile and mouth-watering they can be across any type of cuisine. To do this we created the “Indian Summer” campaign. Pairing these mouth-watering condiments with the traditional British BBQ. 


Solution

Our hero TV commercial and a suite of OOH photography launched just before the summer BBQ season. Placing Geeta’s condiments firmly in the minds of the UK home chefs as an exciting alternative to the traditional ketchup and mayo.


As well as these hero assets we created a large suite of social cutdowns that helped support the TV/OOH campaign. The photography and film was also used across the web, digital, PR, Social Media and Trade shows offering huge value to the brand.


Result

Annual commercial trading increase of 45%
