Welcome to the passion nightclub
This vibrant multi-asset social campaign for Ballentine’s launched a new product that ended up being added to their permanent range. To capture the energy and personality of the product, we designed and built Ballentine's very own nightclub and danced the night away.
Challenge
As Ballentine’s is one of the world's most recognised whiskey brands we had the challenge of incorporating and embracing its brand awareness whilst also making sure Ballentine’s Passion had its own personality and voice.
Insight
We needed to both entertain and educate the Ballentine’s Passion demographic (25-35 year-olds who like to go out socialising and dancing). The films needed to demonstrate the lifestyle associated with the drink and also educate new customers on the perfect serve.
Solution
We embraced all the wonderful vibrant, rich brand colours of Ballentine’s Passion and created our Passion nightclub. Here we were able to both shoot our lifestyle films and also our perfect serve films in situ on the bar.
Casting was key to setting the right mood for our lifestyle films. We wanted people with big energy and big personalities that also felt real and relatable. We cast the net wide and used both actors and dancers to bring the euphoric joy of a night out with friends.
