Surviving Space

Oxford Space Systems aim to become the global leader in deployable antennas for Space. The team leading them there has an exceptionally diverse level of expertise. They blend the complexities of building deployable antennas with solutions from unexpected places; from the fashion and textiles world, to F1 and the principles of origami.

The work they do is meticulous. Their deployable antennas must survive travelling from the extreme colds of the Antarctic to a place hotter than any dessert on earth. Everything must be exact.
